“The Augustine Story” is an insightful look at the man who started out as a patriotic Roman, only to have an encounter with Christ. This resulted in his using his intellect for God’s glory. He went on to write over 500 sermons, 113 books and treatises, and over 200 letters. His works included “The Confessions” and “The City of God,” both of which are still read and studied today.
The influence of Bishop Ambrose and Augustine’s mother served to inspire him to become something he had never dreamed of before: an instrument and tool of God. He went on to become a minister and a bishop. This terrific animated biography is well worth seeing. We award “The Augustine Story” our “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages.
