“Christmas in the Smokies” is a story of drama, comedy and romance. Joy has lived on her family farm her entire life. Working with her parents, they all are invested in the farm with their wonderful jellies, jams and pies. Joy has a dream of the future for this wonderful home in the Smoky Mountains. But she is being challenged by a land- grabbing developer, putting the Haygood farm in danger of being lost.

But when the boy of her dreams, Mason, who stood her up many years ago on Christmas Eve, returns to the small town, everything gets complicated. Can the two work out their differences, and can Mason help Joy save the farm? With a little help from her father, the two have to work together for a cause.

This is a charming and sometimes funny movie about values, kindness, hope, forgiveness and family with the underlying belief that good things can happen. We are proud to award this Christmas film the Dove Faith-Friendly Seal for all ages.
