The LEGO Batman Movie

Bruce Wayne must not only deal with the criminals of Gotham City, but also the responsibility of raising a boy he adopted.

Dove Review

For many generations now, Lego blocks have been a part of children’s lives by building up their imagination and allowing them to recreate their fantasies through play. This is a new movie starring a Lego Batman along with many other superheroes and villains from the DC Entertainment collection of characters. As Batman goes through the city of Gotham stopping crime from the likes of the Joker, he tells everyone that he can do it all on his own. He doesn’t really understand that he sometimes needs help.

“The LEGO Batman Movie” is a fun story that encourages viewers to face their fears, build friendships, cherish family and place value in the concept of teamwork. There are also important lessons about accepting responsibility for one’s actions, trusting others and even saying “I’m sorry” when an apology is due. Along with these lessons there is also a story about being part of a family, even if you are adopted into one.

This film is filled with action and adventure for young and old alike. We are proud to award it the Dove Family-Approved Seal for all ages.
