A sweet story about following your dreams and dealing with misunderstandings through honest communication to get to that elusive true happiness. Enjoy with your entire family as this movie is approved for all ages!
“Classically Emma” Reynolds (Katerina Eichenberger), famous brand-founder and influencer, is not quite pleased with the accessories display and she and her assistant, Trevor (Renni Anthony Magee) brainstorm as to what is lacking. And … here comes Francesca (Lindsay Hartley) for the quarterly review … (eye roll) … She thinks things are “flat” and they need to get trendy and find a new angle that the average person can relate to and buy into.
With new products submitted for consideration coming in all the time, Trevor and Francesca are excited about a botanical line sent in from someone named Jill (Jenn Cooke) and before Emma can blink, she is overruled and off to Vermont and the botanical/herb farm!
Jill is over the moon to meet Emma in person but her brother Jesse (Jonathan Stoddard) is much less impressed and has no idea who Emma is … but as Emma explores Jill’s naturally created skin products, she is very impressed and shares with Trevor that this is the “real deal.” Jesse is protective of Jill and skeptical about Emma’s intent but Jill’s dream is to take her product nationally and maybe even internationally and he needs to give Emma the benefit of the doubt.
As Emma continues to do her due diligence to determine if Jill’s products are suitable to promote on her website, she is gaining Jesse’s trust. Jesse is seeing the kind and caring side of Emma that appears to be exactly what Jill is looking for to help market her product and little sparks are definitely flying as they plan the announcement party of their partnership.
But when an uninvited high-profile investor shows up at the launch party and Emma overhears the conversation between him and Jesse, she feels used and betrayed. As she leaves the party in tears, Jesse realizes there is a huge misunderstanding. Can he convince Emma of the real truth, ensure Jill’s dream comes true, and finally answer the question, “What makes you happy?”
The Dove Take
So, what makes YOU happy? A true partnership transcends any one person’s needs. It’s a coming together, having each other’s back and creating something truly special. You will love the dynamics between Emma and Jesse as they do just that to find happiness together.
