Dove Review

**This review is contributed by Super Channel—a channel dedicated to providing integrity and accountability in today’s entertainment.

Breath-taking aerial shots of stunning tropical scenery, beautiful crystal-clear waters with dolphins and whales, deep sea swimming, and appropriate music, will all allow you to get lost in another world for the duration of this family movie Dove approved for all ages.

Dr. Charlotte Hudson (Shae Robins), dressed in her wedding gown, is shocked and devastated by the sudden announcement by her future husband Elijah that he is calling off the wedding.  Despite the heartbreak, it’s on with her life at the hospital where she is encouraged to take some time off.  When a fellow doctor cannot fulfill his foreign volunteer promise, Charlotte jumps at the chance to replace him, get away for a while, and continue to do the job she loves.

Arriving at the Arianna Medical Centre, she is briefed by Henry Sallow (Scott Christopher) on the setting up of makeshift clinics on hard-to-reach sparsely populated islands and treating people in dire need. In meeting the other volunteers, Charlotte is more than shocked to see Seth, Elijah’s identical twin brother and volunteer dentist … causing a very awkward greeting!

Seth is kind and considerate and definitely the “nice-guy twin” and Charlotte is trying her best not to take out her bad feelings on him but is finding it difficult.  Finally, Seth says it outright … can’t they just get past Elijah and be friends??

As Seth and Charlotte spend time together, Seth is everything Elijah is not.  Charlotte is seeing Seth in an entirely different light but having a hard time admitting she is attracted to him.  Dr. Maya Solis (Shona Kay) volunteer ophthalmologist, is full of advice and encourages Charlotte to acknowledge her feelings.  As the spectrum of emotions reaches every level, Charlotte knows she must stop seeing Elijah’s face when she looks at Seth and love him for who he is.  Through Maya’s kindness, Henry is coming to terms with closing the door on his past and moving into the future.

Well-scripted and well-cast, with Mason D. Davis playing both twin brothers, Elijah and Seth, filmed and produced by a stellar production team.  Excellent production value with believable cast interaction and gorgeous visuals all add to the appeal of this romantic and charming movie about finding love unexpectedly.
