This video shows us that it is important to clean things up – but not only on the outside. We need to clean up the inside too, or it will show up on the outside. In other words, what’s in our hearts will show up in our lives. Cherub teaches us that we all have a “special home,” and it is our heart. If anyone opens their heart’s door to Jesus, he will come in. It also illustrates the story of Jesus visiting God’s special place – his temple in Jerusalem — and how the merchants had turned it into a place of business rather than the place of worship that it should be. I love the song showing Jesus walking with a young boy. This illustration is very powerful to remind us that Jesus is with us always!
