Dove Review

This drama is a bit of a circus and will hold your interest: it’s got the murderer carrying her husband’s head around in a snazzy hat box, and kids left behind to pretty much figure out things for themselves. When Aunt Lucille dumps her children at her brother’s home, and leaves for Hollywood, the viewer will think she’s: nuts and a menace. As the plot unfolds, and the viewer learns how abused she was by her husband, her character takes on edges. This isn’t a video for children, because of the crassness of her crime, but adults may find elements which make them think and they may find it entertaining. The closing scene is totally Hollywood: unbelievable but “happy.”
