“Paulie” is one of my favorite movies of all time. Every time I watch it I laugh and cry right along with the great story of abandon, betrayal, and a little Parrot who steals the hearts of everyone he meets. Paulie starts his life – and his adventures – in the home of a beautiful little girl with a huge heart. Paulie helps her and she helps Paulie by giving him all the love of a little girl. Problems arise with the parents and Paulie is sent away from the only home he’s ever known and his best friend in the whole world. The rest of the movie, Paulie spends all of his time, energy, and all of his amazing talents trying to find his only love in the big cruel world.
