Synopsis

Galileo was an Italian physicist, astronomer, astrologer, and philosopher associated with the scientific revolution. In addition to discovering that the Earth revolves around the sun, he is also credited for making improvements to the telescope and for making the first systematic study of uniformly accelerated motion. Often referred to as the “Father of modern astronomy,” the “Father of modern physics,” and the “Father of science,” Galileo was a man of determination and intolerance.

Dove Review

The Animated Heroes series is a wonderful learning tool for children to learn more about history. The animation was done well and the story of Galileo was told true to life. The film was very educational and is able to keep the interest of the viewer. This film would be a wonderful teaching tool for schools to use in the classroom or for home schooling families.

If you are looking for a wholesome educational yet interesting film, I highly recommend this one and the other stories form “The Animated Heroes Classics series”. You will not be disappointed.
