Dove Review

This thirty minute animated episode about Abraham’s struggle to have children is by far the best depiction of the story I have seen. It is apparent that Abraham is beginning to have trouble believing the Lord’s promise that he will bear children when his servant becomes pregnant with his child. However, when Sarah gives birth to a son, it is apparent that not everyone is happy about the newest arrival. Topped off with Abraham’s emotional sacrifice to God at the end, this episode tugs at the heart strings.

There was some objectionable material in this episode. The children are often seen with bows and arrows. When one child almost drowns, an adult looks the other way and an argument ensues. Also one child causes another to fall down. Yet again, this is a well made episode and we approve it for all ages and award it our Dove Seal.
