Synopsis

In The Good Samaritan, Jesus teaches us the true meaning of God’s commandment– “love thy neighbor”: Jesus tells the story of a man being robbed and left for dead by the side of the road; his cries for help are ignored by his own countrymen, two people who find excuses for not coming to his aid. Finally, a Samaritan, who is the injured man’s natural enemy, stops to rescue him. Through this story, Jesus teaches us how God expects us to treat others, no matter our differences.

Dove Review

This Dove-approved 30-minute episode tells the story of the Good Samaritan, and how he helped a wounded man out when no one else would, not even the religious leaders. The story is told well and the animation is great. A character is robbed by thieves but there are no gratuitous scenes.

This DVD is Dove approved for all ages.
