Synopsis

In His final days on earth, Jesus’ disciples struggle to understand His mission. They are blinded by their expectations of the Messiah, thinking He will deliver them from Roman rule. Journey with the disciples as they witness Jesus cleansing the temple, triumphantly entering Jerusalem, and healing a lame man. After Jesus’ resurrection, the disciples finally understand! Jesus offers deliverance from the bondage of sin and death, giving hope of eternal life through His atonement of sin.

Dove Review

This DVD has great animation and music. In “The Messiah Comes”, it shows the characters doubting whether or not Jesus is the messiah, saying that he is just a carpenter’s son. Not until they see him perform miracles, such as healing, do they start to believe. The film goes over things such as what we need to do to be saved. I do think that kids would like it and of course, it has a great message. We approve this film for all ages.
