The big city meets the wide-open country in “What I Did for Love.” This is a pretty good film and is, in general, very clean with only a few words from a rough-necked cowboy and over-protective father. The western landscape is striking as it serves as a wonderful backdrop for this story about fitting in and acceptance.
The story line is a bit slow at times but overall, “What I Did for Love” is a good watch. It is a great alternative to other rancher-type movies that are filled with language and fighting. “What I Did for Love” easily earns the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for family-friendly viewing!
