Melissa Gilbert stars in this movie as a big city lawyer who discovers that her late father was previously married to a rodeo star. So she heads out to California to see what she can find out. She drives her fancy sports car out to a beautiful, secluded ranch where she meets her father’s other daughter (played by Lindsay Wagner). This is a delightful film. The countryside is breathtaking, the story line is absorbing and we award “Thicker than Water” five Doves.
