Synopsis

Laura Leighton stars as Catherine Madighan in this Hallmark Channel Original Movie as a New York career woman with a high-powered job and a millionaire fiancé. But when she’s told that her estranged father has died and his last request was for her to escort his ashes to their tiny Massachusetts hometown, Catherine begins a journey that will lead her to question the beliefs she’s held about herself, her father and her seemingly-perfect life. She may have built up a good lead, but Catherine is about to learn that she can’t outrun her past.

Premieres exclusively on Hallmark Channel Saturday, January 26, 2008 (9/8c).

Dove Review

Hallmark brings to life the reality that you can never hide from your past. Catherine finds that she did not really know her father as she thought and life might not be as she thought. As one of the characters in this story puts it, “life cannot be planned and set in stone because things are not always as they seem. When you come to terms with the past it changes your future.” This is one of those cuddle-up-on-a-cold-winter-night movies to watch, relax and enjoy.

This movie is aimed towards older family members and is awarded the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal.
