A combination of real life and animation of the 1960s, this is a classic. This movie takes the viewer on the adventure with young Christian as he runs away from home and dreams of four stories. The story rocks back and forth between live action and animation with the sandman narrating. It tends to be on the long side and not as captivating as “Frosty the Snowman” or “Rudolph the Red Nosed” Reindeer movies. But it is still charming and we award the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal to this DVD.
