Marilyn Vine’s idyllic life in Connecticut is devastated by the tragic death of her only son, Dale, during his 15th birthday party. 3000 miles away, Ria Lynch’s marriage comes to a stunning abrupt end in Dublin, Ireland, when husband Danny reveals that he is leaving her for his pregnant mistress, Bernadette. An accidental phone call brings these two otherwise unrelated women together and, in their mutual need for space and time alone, they agree to a two-month house exchange. In swapping homes, both women slowly find healing and strength through new surroundings and the kindness of others and gradually learn to accept the reality of their changed lives. Dove Review

Sometimes when things are tough in your life it might be good to have a change of scenery. In this story by one accidental phone call between two women a decision is made that will alter both their lives. Both have had unforeseen incidents that were devastating and so they exchange homes for a couple of months. With new acquaintances and surroundings each woman does some soul searching that changes each of their lives and their futures.

Although this movie has some really good qualities, some of the content is outside of the Dove guidelines and it cannot be awarded our Dove Seal.
