In this world we live in sometimes it is easier to just say “No” to everything. Carl is divorced and doesn’t answer his friends when they call, declines everything involving his job and really does not want to do anything for fun. Then one day an old friend sees him and convinces him to go to a “Yes” meeting, where he is challenged to say yes to everything that is asked of him. Boy does his life change. Things happen that he never dreamed of. But saying “yes” does not always make things better. Here is what Carl has to learn; that to have a better life, one must have a balance of both yes and no.

Jim Carey can almost always make you laugh and enjoy his movies with his tactics. This film is filled with some very funny stuff at times and the thought of always saying “yes”, even when it might be inappropriate, makes for some hilarious situations. But unfortunately the content in this movie prevents us from awarding our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal to it.
