First of all, the answer is yes, this is a chick flick. I am sure that a lot of women have met a man like Connor, who thinks that women are only worth it for one thing and it is not marriage. But just like Scrooge in the classic “Christmas Carol”, Connor is shown the errors of his ways so he can change the future. The changes that have to be made not only benefit him but also those around him.

This story has some good qualities and there are some very funny moments. Casual sex is frowned upon by many and there are other lessons such as you cannot run away from love. Unfortunately, there is a lot of content that puts this movie far beyond the Dove guidelines and it cannot receive the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal.
