Synopsis

Everyone likes being happy. Or do they?

There’s a lot to be happy about in life, but instead of enjoying what we have, we worry and gripe about what we don’t have. We tend to ignore the good things in life and focus on the little inconveniences.

Like when Billy dreams about a popular toy for his birthday but instead gets a dress-up doll, or when a crazy clown crashes the party, or when the cake bursts into flames.

Filled with hilarious moments you’ll never forget, “Party!” jumps into the story of life to discover the secret of true happiness and joy.

Dove Review

Through a mix of live action, animation and puppetry this DVD attempts to teach its audience how and why joy is important. While it is a bit “campy” at times, the lesson is somewhat convoluted as it skips briskly between a birthday party, instructional lessons and old time footage.

The ultimate lesson is to be happy with what we have and to not get caught up in desiring more than we really need to feel joyful. This film will appeal to younger children and is awarded our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
