Dove Review

**This review is contributed by Super Channel—a channel dedicated to providing integrity and accountability in today’s entertainment.

You will love the strikingly beautiful tropical scenery with breathtaking aerial shots and music that carries each scene into the next as two people with opposing ideas of what defines “romantic”, compromise to accomplish a common goal.  Sit back with your family and plan your next tropical vacation, as you enjoy this delightful romantic comedy.  Dove approved for all ages!

Avery (Ashley Bratcher) is confident and self-assured and about to launch a dating app that uses a figurative map of personal characteristics to match people.  But to take her project to the next level, Avery accepts an ambitious assignment from Grant Forbes (Brent Harvey) of World Travel Guru magazine, to find and write about exotic locations and develop a real map of the most romantic locations in Florida.  On arriving in Florida and meeting Ian Anderson (Reed Favero) the prickly tour guide, Avery sees him as impatient and skeptical and not a good match for her sophisticated tastes.

As Ian guides Avery around Florida, she sees nothing that qualifies as a destination for her authentic map of most romantic places.  Ian’s suggestions are hard to get to and uninteresting.  When Ian’s truck breaks down and they are forced to stay with his godparents, Dave (David Raizor) and Martha (Susan Morgan) at their B&B and live off the grid, but in the most beautiful location, Avery is seeing the peaceful side of a quiet beauty and is appreciating Ian’s gentleness and unhurried demeanor.

When Avery gets in touch with her boyfriend, Floyd (Ross Alan Jirgl) and he reneges on his promise to join her in Florida, it’s clear they need to lead their separate lives.

As Ian contemplates his life and not wanting to be alone, Martha gives some very wise advice and insight into what makes a happy relationship.  But when Floyd shows up unexpectedly, Ian must make the decision to let Avery know how he feels or risk losing her forever.  And will Avery meet the World Travel Guru expectations, or lose the chance to make her dream come true?

The Dove Take:

Searching for love can take you on a bumpy ride, but unexpected detours can lead to tender moments and pleasant results and is well worth the effort of swerving off course with abandon.  Be brave and follow your heart!
