Dove Review
While funny at times, this film was an example of just how low our standards have become when selecting a companion. Men can be shallow and so can women but we are shown just how devious each sex can be when they attempt to get what they want. The premise of this movie is that four women all read a book by comedian Steve Harvey titled “Act like a woman but think like a man.” In the book, Steve gives women an inside look at common lifestyles and desires that some men have and then he gives them advice on how to “change the game” by tricking the men into doing what their women want. When the men find out about the scheme, they use the book to their own advantage. In other words they all play each other for self gain. In the end, each realizes that they simply need to be truthful and actually show each other what they really want. Unfortunately, with over the top language and adult situations, this is not a family film.
