Here Comes the Boom is a little slow in building but quickens the pace by mid-film. The story centers around the idea that we can all do our part to help others succeed in their goals. While the film is filled with fighting scenes, the moral of the story is to persevere and not give up. Lofty messages are present in the pic such as working together for a common cause and there are even a few inspirational scenes like men praying together before a fight and before a meal.
There is a great deal of violence in the film but you would expect that in a movie where the main plot surrounds cage fighting. Little blood is seen however which shows that the filmmakers did use discretion while editing the movie.
