This is a vision of a Biblical future of Apocalypse and the Antichrist and it is vivid in its imagery and storytelling. Ben Davies is terrific as Shaw, also known as agent 408. He works for the One World Government in tracking down people who refuse to accept the chip which allows them to buy or sell, but he can’t get away from Christianity and those who witness to him, even when he kills their kind. The similarities between Shaw and the Apostle Paul are well drawn. Roxy is a girl who refuses to get the chip and finds herself on the run. She does some research and it begins to slowly dawn on her what is Biblically happening around her.
This movie contrasts a dark future with willing gunmen hunting down Christians as well as those who are willing to die for their faith in Christ, and wind up doing exactly that. The movie is fast paced and features an interesting plot. The themes are making choices and accepting responsibility for those choices. The imagery of a possible future as portrayed in this film is intriguing. We happily award this movie our “Faith-Friendly” Seal for ages twelve and above. This movie will make you think. See it as soon as possible!
