The Animated Heroes series is a wonderful learning tool for children to learn more about history. The animation was well done and the story of Abraham Lincoln was told nicely, and followed Abraham’s life from a few years into presidency to his death. The film was very educational and it was able to keep the interest of not only myself but my young children. This film would be a wonderful teaching tool for schools to use in the classroom or for home schooling families.
This film did contain some violence as it followed the war, and a couple of men were shot, but it was not graphic at all. Also at one point the African American community were referred to as negros which was common at this time. If you are looking for a wholesome educational yet interesting film, I highly recommend this one and the other stories form “The Animated Heroes Classics series”. You will not be disappointed.
