Russell Madness

RUSSELL MADNESS tells the story of Russell, an undersized but big-hearted terrier who dreams of having a family of his own. After running away from his current pet store residence, Russell gets taken in by The Ferraros, a family desperate to revive their grandfather’s pro wrestling arena. That’s when they discover their new pet pooch has incredible wrestling skills. With help from his coach, Hunk, a savvy and hilarious monkey, Russell rockets to the top of the pro wrestling world and becomes a famous sports superstar. But when a dishonest promoter double-crosses the Ferraros, Russell will face his biggest challenge and discover that the strongest tag team is family.

Dove Review

The cute little Jack Russell terrier named Russell is the runt of the litter at the pet store, and he so badly wants to be adopted by a family. But due to his inappropriate urination problem when he gets scared, the pet store manager is reluctant to allow customers to take him home. When Russell hears a conversation between the store manager and an employee about having to be sent to the dog pound, he takes his chances and runs away. This leads him to connect with the Ferraro family, a talking monkey named Monk, and a new career.

“Russell Mania” will win your family’s heart. It is about the importance of family and contains many uplifting messages such as, “family is family no matter what,” and the “strongest tag team is family.” Young and old alike will love the animals as they show their true character. And the entire Ferraro family shows the importance of working together, as well as the value of passing their legacy on to the next generation.

We are proud to award “Russell Madness” the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
