Love Finds You in Charm

Beautiful Emma Miller would appear to be the luckiest girl in Indiana. She teaches school, has a loving family, and the town’s most eligible young man wants to marry her. But this Amish girl has more on her mind than buggies and bonnets: she longs for adventure, she wants to see the world. When given the opportunity to spend the summer with relatives in Charm, Ohio, Emma jumps at the chance. There she meets an Englischer who has come to town to escape her chaotic life, and despite their differences, the two become fast friends. Emma finds herself pulled between two worlds and must decide whether to stay amongst the Amish, or leave behind everyone and everything she’s ever known to venture into the wide world.

Dove Review

Emma Miller reads about the outside world that is so different from the Amish world she has grown up in. She has many doubts about her life and the future. Her father sees the difficult time she is having, so when her cousin needs help in Charm, Ohio, she leaves her family in Indiana to help. While there maybe she will find out what is important to her: the big world outside or the Amish life.

While in Ohio she makes two new friends: Noah, who is also helping Lydia on her farm after the loss of her husband, and Kelly, who is in Charm to get away from an old boyfriend and make a fresh start. The three learn many things from each other about themselves, which helps Emma make the right decision for her life.

This is a heartfelt story of choices, understanding, and true love. We are proud to award this movie with the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
