Dove Review

Synopsis

When the villainous Bad Clyde casts an evil spell to banish the beloved Benny the Easter Bunny to the dreaded Land of the Holiday Misfits, Santa Claus and his trusty sidekick, Gargaff the Reindeer, spring into action and embark on an epic, multi-dimensional journey that takes them from the North Pole to lands undreamt of, all to rescue Benny and save the Easter holiday for children around the world.

Review

When Clyde the boar threatens to throw off the holidays by casting the Easter Bunny, Benny, to the Land of Holiday Misfits and input himself as the new Easter mascot, Benny must journey through the snowy, barren land to find the land’s king. Meanwhile, in an effort to keep the peace among holiday mascots, Santa is on a quest to bring Benny back through a series of encounters with enchanted creatures.

Easter is the next day…the clock is ticking.

The plot meanders from time to time, getting a bit caught up in silly language and jokes. That aside, the animation style pops, and the vocal performances add much texture to the film, easily enticing younger viewers. Easter Land is an all-around imaginative feast for kids, making it completely worthy of the Dove Seal for All Ages.
