Stuart Little

After years of living at an orphanage, little Stuart (voice of Michael J. Fox) a spunky mouse with a big heart, is getting a new family – a human family. But every family member does not welcome our rodent hero. Snowball the household cat is not thrilled with having a mouse running free around the family hearth. That’s just not great for a feline’s reputation. Therefore, contract kitties are brought in by Snowball to do away with this new resident. Thus begins a Tom and Jerry existence, with Stuart having to dodge his would be executioners with Home Alone/Wile E Coyote results.

Dove Review

Mr and Mrs Little go to the orphanage to get a little brother for their son, George. But when he gets home, George is none too thrilled with the littlest Little! Through one adventure after another, Stuart has to learn some hard lessons. He has obstacles to overcome, both physically and figuratively. And, in the end, Stuart learns what it means to be a family, and that loyalty and friendship are very important. And, along the way, the Littles learn that everyone has a little bit of a “Stuart” in them: tenacity, courage and spirit which all play active roles in their lives.

We award “Stuart Little” 5 Doves.
