Corky Romano – Edited

When the FBI indicts ‘Pops” Romano (Peter Falk), he needs a family member to go undercover and steal the evidence against him. Only one member might be unfamiliar to the agency, Corky (Chris Kattan), the youngest son who’s oblivious to his family’s criminal activity. But Corky’s a veterinarian assistant who can’t even take the pressure of putting an animal to sleep; can he get into the FBI without cracking? Thanks to an over-eager resume, Corky is assumed to be a super-agent and perception may be all he needs as he stumbles through special investigation assignments. Although he’s shocked to learn the accusations against his father, Corky surprises the FBI, his family and even himself as he uncovers some shocking secrets. Those looking for a humorous escape at the movies may find it in CORKY ROMANO.

Dove Review

I am not a big fan at all of Chris Kattan. I didn’t care for him in “Saturday Night Live” and I thought I wouldn’t care for him in this film. I found that his performance was not over-the-top like most of his TV characters and overall was not that bad. Since the language and sexual references were edited out, I think that made the movie much easier to watch and enjoy. It has some humorous parts that teenagers and older adolescents will find funny. Uncork this one for a night of fun and silly humor.
