Dove.org encourages and promotes the creation, production, distribution and consumption of wholesome family entertainment.  This is accomplished by providing faith and family-focused reviews for today’s media.

The Dove reviews are based on Christian values and we want to serve all families and individuals who love great entertainment, but also want to spend their time and money on God-glorifying storytelling.

We review the good, bad and the ugly of a film.  Years ago, the Dove Seal was referred to by the late entertainment legend, Steve Allen as “the Good Housekeeping seal for family entertainment.” We honor that legacy and we’re excited to carry it forward for a new generation of families.

As a writer for Dove.org you will write reviews for new and catalog films, television shows, streaming shows/movies, YouTube channels and apps. You can read a sampling of reviews by clicking on the links below.

The Process

To become a writer for Dove.org, please provide your information and a link to a writing sample on our website here.  You will then be sent a review to write on a trial basis.  We have put together a Writers Review Strategy and Structure document that you can view here. Follow these guidelines in writing the review.

You will then be notified if we publish the review and asked to be a writer for Dove.org.  Once you become a writer for Dove.org you will be paid $50 for each review that you write.

As new reviews become needed we will reach out to you and ask you to write a review.  For new release films and streaming shows/movies, you will be asked to view the content and write, review and submit it in one to two days.  For catalog content you will be asked to view the content and write, review and submit it in five days.
