Will Ferrell has done it again! Unfortunately, what he has done is to co-write one of the most foul mouthed, irreverent spoofs of all time. Not only are we exposed to a barrage of language from the adults, but the kids get into the act as well. In fact, Ricky Bobbie’s kids are two of the most disrespectful children I have ever seen in film.
OK, spoofs are supposed to make fun of things. I get that. What “Talladega Nights” does however, is to go as far overboard as they can with every joke that comes along. The film also makes the mistake of re-visiting each joke’s subject matter over and over again. Nascar should also be ashamed of themselves for sponsoring this movie.
